The Center is awarded with a grant for two-year project "My future with the own business", a new edition of project of stimulation of the development of entrepreneurship among the rural inhabitants of the Podkarpackie region through training, advisory and financial support. The project will assist business start – ups in one part of the Podkarpackie region through a series of trainings and advisory services in how to set up and operate a small business combined with direct financial of support up to US$ 12, 000 for investments in the best new businesses and "bridge" grant support for six months for each new business owner to pay for required health insurance and cover some of operational costs,. Two-year project supported from European Union sources within European Social Fund (Operational Program Human Capital, KL 6.2) will be implemented from July 2010 to December 2012.

The Center is awarded with a grant for two-year project
“Stimulation of the entrepreneurship development among the inhabitants of rural areas of the Podkarpackie region through the training, advisory and financial support”. 12 November 2008:
The Center is awarded with a grant for the establishment and providing “The Regional Center for the European Social Fund (ROEFS)” in the field office in Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski.
ROEFS helps local nongovernmental organizations and inhabitants of Świętokrzyskie region to apply for the financial support for their activities from the European Social Fund sources. Activities include informational, training and advisory services in the subject of available EFS supporting programs, project design and management, grant application preparation, as well as in building partnerships using EFS support for the benefit of local communities.

3 November 2008:
The Center is awarded with one-year grant for project „ABC of business – basic packages of information for different business branches”.
This project aims to enable easy access to basic information on small scale business establishment in chosen different branches. Activities include designing “ABC of business” web site and providing on-line informational and advisory services for potential businessmen, as well as publication a series of 15 informational brochures for different businesses branches.
Project timeline: November 2008 - October 2009.

1 October 2008:
The Center starts implementation of the project “Building informational community in gmina Łoniów”.
This training project is focused on the development of practical skills of inhabitants from gmina Łoniów in computer operation and Internet communication. This project aim is to increase the access of gmina Łoniów community to the information and help them to look for and use sources of financial support from EU supporting programs.

15 September 2008:
the Center continues activities within the new edition of the project “Consulting Services Office (PK)” for entrepreneurs and business start - ups. Three-year project supports business sector in Poland by delivering fee-free informational and basic consulting services to small and medium-scale businesses and potential entrepreneurs. Through the PK project the Center delivers informational services to small, medium and start-up entrepreneurs seeking information regarding business operations and opportunities.

The Center is awarded with a major grant for two-year project “Stimulation of the micro-entrepreneurship development on rural areas of the Świętokrzyskie region through the training, advisory and financial services”. Project addressed to business start – ups in four parts of Świętokrzyskie region, consists of a series of trainings and advisory services in small scale business establishment and operation for business start-ups combined with direct financial support up to US$ 12, 000 for investments in the best new established businesses, as well as “bridge” grant support for a period of 6 months for each new business owner to pay for required health insurance and cover some of business operation costs.

The Center starts implementation of the project:
“Commitment of rural women to the public life and influence for the development of the Świętokrzyskie region” This project is addressed to rural women with the aim to strengthen their role in local community and increase their engagement in local and public life. The main activities include a series of training workshops in the area of leadership skills development and organization of study tour visit program focused on presentation the best initiatives provided by women.
Project timeline: July 2008 – December 2008.
Project received financial support from Civil Initiatives Fund Program of the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy.

"Education of leaders as the basis for gmina Łoniów development" This Project aims to increase professional knowledge and practical skills among rural leaders working for the benefit of local communities.
Activities include a series of training workshops focused on methods and techniques of public speaking, public relations, communications, and negotiations.

the Center starts implementation of two related projects:
1. "Professional skills and qualifications development for entering the job market". This Project is addressed to inhabitants of rural areas of poviat Sandomierz, to stimulate and support their access to, and success within, the job market.
2. "Professional skills and qualifications development of inhabitants of poviat Buski through training and informational services". This Project is addressed to inhabitants of rural areas of poviat Busko - Zdrój to stimulate and support their access to, and success within, the job market.
Activities include series of training courses for rural inhabitants improving their skills in computer operation, cashiering and other professional customer services.

29 May 2008:
the Center announces the results of the latest edition of the program "Act Locally", funded by the Academy for the Development of Philanthropy in Poland. As a grantmaking organization supporting non-governmental local organizations and civic initiatives acting to benefit specific local communities, the Center awarded 7 local nongovernmental organizations from three poviats (Sandomierski, Opatowski and Staszowski) financial support for their proposed initiatives (totaling $ 8,500). Grants will support inter alia the following local activities: the design walking and bike paths; the organization of playgrounds and places for playing sports; providing theatre performances and workshops for the youth; promotion of Cistercian heritage in Koprzywnica. All initiatives will be implemented by the end of the year.

"Developing democracy and building civil society in rural areas of the Świętokrzyskie region", This Project features training and advisory services focused on strengthening rural nongovernmental organizations and rural leaders working for the benefit of local communities.
