The Center for Business Promotion and Entrepreneurship(1) in Sandomierz , Poland was founded in 1991 by ,TechnoServe a U.S. nongovernmental organization, and Senator Zbigniew Romaszewski, who then represented this rural part of southeast Poland. Our early programs concentrated on agribusiness development. But in response to rapidly evolving local needs we expanded into general business development as well as into public sector economic and development planning.

The mission and principal goal of the Center is to improve existing businesses, create new businesses and employment, and develop sustainable sources of income for rural communities in southeast Poland.
